Trigger Warnings
What are trigger/content warnings and why do I put them on my page? When I first heard about trigger warnings I thought it was stupid. People were overreacting, I thought. Being snowflakes. Turns out I was spectacularly wrong. Let’s just leave it at that. There are plenty of places online that discuss trigger warnings passionately; I won’t do it here. Instead, I want to provide triggers for the two books in my The Sun Chronicles series. I’m new to the concept of triggers (as I’m new to the concept of writing!), but I hope I’ve covered most of the sensitive areas which could cause discomfort for the reader. Please let me know if you’ve read the books and found triggers which are not covered here.
